Poring War on Sakray

After more poking around (as usual) I noticed the Poring War files had shown up on the Sak patch server today, and Heim confirmed it’s being tested.  Hopefully it’ll make its way to the mains soon, because it looks super fun!  For info on it, check the wiki page http://irowiki.org/wiki/Poring_War

Also included in this are 3 of the monster mercenary scrolls, thinking those might end up on Valkyrie?

9/29/2008 Patch Changes

Finally, the WoE2 God Item Pieces and Asprika/Brynhild were added to the patch server.  Hopefully that means the compenents will start dropping soon~

Episode 12

Episode 12 files are on the main patch server now.  In terms of download size, it’s VERY small since we got most of it with the last update.  Woot!  I predict it’ll be on Sakray (or mains depending on what’s gonna happen) in the next 3-4 weeks or less.  Can’t wait!

Adventurer’s Trusty Towel

This trusty towel truly is the sidearm of an experienced adventurer.
Allowing one to remain cool in the face of adversity.
Warning: Do not wear towel when in battle; it is only to be used in relaxed situations.
Cannot be Dropped or Traded.

The slot has been removed, which apparently is the intent according to Heim.  Once the event that will presumably make use of it is in, the reason for wanting it will probably be revealed.

Today the patch files were changed numerous times.  A few things were added, and some things were removed.  Not sure if this is the “final” version that iRO will actually be getting, but it’s the latest I have as of this posting.  The descriptions changed on many things, so I’m just going to repost it all in its current form.

Bird Nest

A mysterious bird’s nest that makes the wearer feel like flying.
AGI +2
Adds10% tolerance to the Animal (brute) monsters.  Upper, 1 DEF. Level 55.

Close Helmet

An iron mask that covers the whole face. By covering the whole face, it can protect the wearer from critical attacks. It helps to improve defense.
VIT + 3 , MHP+ 3% Upper + Mid + Lower, 8 DEF.  Level 75, Swordman types.  120 Weight.

Magic Eyes

A hat that looks like the eyes of a dark mage, which are rumored to blink sometimes.
Reduce Cast Time by 10% and increase SP Consumption by 20%.
MDEF + 5. Upper, 1 DEF. Level 30.  Mage/Soul Linker.

Chinese Crown

A heavy-looking hat which is decorated with blue and silver gems. It looks suitable for splendid events like weddings.
Additional 10% tolerance to Stun.
INT + 1, MDEF + 2. Upper + Mid, 2 DEF. Weight 200.

A brown-colored small dog; sitting. It looks cute.

However, MDEF decreased 20% for 2 seconds.
Decreases 20% of all magical damage for 2 seconds with low chance when magically attacked.
However, DEF decreased 20% for 2 seconds. Upper, 3 DEF. Level 30.

Dress Hat

A tiny and cute hat that can decorate a part of the head.
This hat, along with a pretty dress, makes the wearer want to go on a picnic.

Increases ATK, MATK 2%, effectiveness of Heal skill 5%.
Additional ATK, MATK 1% effectiveness of Heal skill 1%, when upgraded to Lv 7 or more.
